A survival adventure based on a true story!
What lies beyond revenge?
A story based on a true story, adapted from the legend of Hugh Glass, a real-life miracle survivor!
A survival adventure on a grand scale set in the wilderness!
The hero is attacked by a bear and left for dead by his companions, and the unimaginably harsh survival unfolds! An overwhelmingly powerful adventure with DiCaprio's passionate performance and the ultimate visual beauty of filming only in natural light!
The music is by Ryuichi Sakamoto, a world-renowned Japanese film musician. Ryuichi Sakamoto, the first Japanese to win an Academy Award(R) for Best Original Score for "The Last Emperor," provides a magnificent and tense score.
