Commemorating the 40th anniversary of YMO's formation. All albums are sequentially reissued with the latest remastering by master Bob Ruddick. Recording began on the day "BGM" was released. Using the custom-made sampler LMD-649, the world's first full-scale sampler album is now available in two analog versions, cut by Bernie Grundman mastering in Hollywood, U.S.A. This album incorporates elements of minimalism and ethnic music, and along with "BGM," it is an extremely avant-garde album. Includes "Gymnastics," "Jam," and others. (Released in 1981)
Collector's Vinyl Edition" includes two 45rpm discs cut in a special outer box, a separate booklet with interviews with the artists involved, a replica of a track sheet from the album, and more.
