The soundtrack of Ryuichi Sakamoto's first film music, "Merry Christmas in the Battlefield," directed by Nagisa Oshima and released in 1983, has been re-mastered, and a previously unreleased version is included in DISC2.
This limited edition release includes detailed liner notes by Mr. Kunizaki, editor-in-chief of "Sound & Recording Magazine," with testimonials from Shinichi Tanaka, the engineer at the time, and other sources. The remastering engineer is Seigen Ono, who has worked with many big artists.
