Just as we were thinking that we would like to convey through the activities of the Tohoku Youth Orchestra that children in Tohoku are doing their best to live and play beautiful and strong music, the contemporary artist Shinro Ohtake agreed to support this activity and volunteered to create the words "Tohoku Youth Orchestra" on the front of the The uniforms for the children's concerts were completed with "Tohoku" on the front and "Youth Orchestra" on the back.
