This album features former Tin Pan Alley musicians from Dr. John to Haas Martinez, Thurston Moore (Sonic Youth), Shigeru Suzuki, and Tatsuo Hayashi, as well as Ryuichi Sakamoto, Taeko Onuki, Minako Yoshida, Buffalo Daughter, Anne Sally, Kiseru, and even elementary school students (!). This 2CD+1DVD release is a Hosono songbook overflowing with respect for Haruomi Hosono, love for pop music, and a spirit of experimentation. The DVD includes tribute videos by Thai manga artist Wisut Pongnimit (Tam) and Masakatsu Takagi.
