やくしまるえつこ、「Yakushimaru ExperimentAn experimental concept album dealing with improvisation, reading, and numbers under the name "commmons" was released on March 30, 2016, in celebration of commmons' 10th anniversary.
The album includes a 14-minute long improvisation session with Yakushimaru's original instrument "dimtakt" and other original instrumentalists, as well as a reading by Philip K. Dick Award-winning science fiction author Ensei Tow, who is also a member of Yakushimaru's group. Science&Future&Experimennt" album, including "Like a Protein," a text with a special structure written for Yakushimaru's reading by Philip K. Dick Award-winning science fiction author Ensei Tow, which he reads and improvises on.
Tou Enjô commented on Yakushimaru and this album, calling it "a human-powered world simulator. The liner notes include a text dedicated to this work written by Tou Enjou and a commentary on the album by Minoru Hatanaka, chief curator at NTT InterCommunication Center [ICC].
