1.me & my bird prince The image is set in a mini-theater, where four sheep-like things are singing in a chorus while falling apart. Like a sponge cake commercial? 2.closet Since everything is kept in the closet, it will one day become a deep forest full of secrets, and if you go in, you will not be able to get out. If you go in there, you will not be able to get out! This song is a little bit strong. At first, the drums were only to be played, but I asked Ota Koji to play them, and he did a lot of layering. As a result, the temperature difference between the drums and the rest of the performance created an interesting effect. 3. Come on over. If you compare being attracted to someone as if that person has built a house in your mind without your permission, then of course you would want to build your own house in that person's mind as well. Since it is probably not easy to build a house, you build it in your imagination, and then wait for your friend to come to your house. I came up with the idea when I was actually waiting for my friend. I asked Mito to play bass, Sakata to play drums, and Seigen Tokuzawa's quartet to play strings. I was happy to be able to make use of a lot of the three-piece playing we did on the last mini-album and the strings we have arranged since the first album. 4.me.ga.ne. Melody, melody, I was thinking about it, and then the melodious chorus came out. 5.classroom In my junior high and high school days, math class was a time for "thinking. I was thinking so seriously that I didn't really understand math anymore. I even got chalked for talking during class.... I used such "in-class" time as a stage to create a sticky "broadway" atmosphere. 6.summer When I think of "summer" when it is not summer, the image of being at a loss is strong in my mind, and for some reason there are big dark memories of Atomic Bomb Day and the anniversary of the end of the war, but the sunlight is very strong and active. I think it's ironic. There is also Obon. 7. the way back home The only track with only piano and singing. I wrote this song for my performance at the first LOHAS Classic Concert before my debut. Maybe that's why I feel the words are so pure, and I'm a little itchy myself. 8. Daisy This song was written by Mito. I have always wished that my music could have a more masculine (rock?) feel to it, and Mito has done just that. The drummer was Mr. Kashiwagura of toe. The recording was a lot of fun and I was very happy. 9. Daisuki na Hito An image of two happy people with melancholy. I also wanted to express the mysterious connection that I vaguely feel. 10. Kimi wa genius （This song was created from the idea that even the streets of Shibuya (which is not my favorite place) can become a stage full of dancing flowers right after falling in love, and that surely skips in movement, and that inevitably, when you tap the asphalt with a magic stick, stars will burst out from everywhere with a sparkle. 11. Touch Me Yuichi Ohata wrote the lyrics. The lyrics are very expansive and strong, so we thought a lot about how to sing them. 12.to stanford Stanford is the name of a town in Connecticut, above New York, where I once took a train to go to work part-time. The train was used by people who lived in such a suburban residential area and went to work in Manhattan to commute to work, but breakdowns were a common occurrence, with chairs leaning, air conditioners not working, and trains that remained stationary for 30 minutes or more. But I loved to watch the changing seasons and the beautiful sunsets from the train and think about all kinds of things. Mr. Sakamoto liked this song, which was included in the first demo we made two years ago, but we never got around to revisiting it. I was finally able to include it this time. |
