JUNYA WATANABE presented its Spring/Summer 2022 collection under the theme of Asian nostalgia.
For the show of this collection, Ryuichi Sakamoto created "TONG POO" (the original version is Yellow Magic OrchestraThe original version of "TONG POO" was arranged in response to Junya Watanabe's request and offered as "Tong Poo for JUNYA WATANABE".
In addition to the music used in the show, two previously unreleased versions of "Tong Poo for JUNYA WATANABE - alternative arr." that Sakamoto was working on at the same time will be released on analog vinyl in a limited edition of 500 copies.
The only factory in Japan that can handle the entire production process from mastering to pressing and jacket production is still in full production. In addition, the global analog vinyl production has been in excess demand, and supply has not been able to keep up with demand.
