Composer, arranger, guitarist, and producer. This is a solo album by 伊藤ゴロー, who mainly works on instrumental music, as well as music for movies and dramas, releasing albums and performing live in Japan and abroad.
Recently, he has attracted attention for producing and providing music for the albums of naomi & goro, a bossa nova duo with Naomi Fuse, and 原田知世.
The Brazilian cellist is known for his warm guitar sound and unique arrangements in sessions with 坂本龍一, Sean O'Hagan, who works with Stereolab and Hiramaz, and Antonio Carlos Jobim, He is also known for his sessions with Antonio Carlos Jobim and Brazilian cellist Jaquith Morelenbaum, among others.
This is his second album under the name 伊藤ゴロー, which features a variety of guests including Sean O'Hagan and Valgeir Sigurdsson, Bjork's engineer. In September 2010, she will be performing as naomi & goro with Naruyoshi Kikuchi, a jazz musician who has garnered attention not only as a musician but also as a writer.
