The unit consisting of Yasutsugu Miura, Shige Murata, and Seiko Ito, □□□ (Kuchiroro) has released a new album for the first time in about a year!
The album includes "everyday is a symphony" (2009), which was born from the play "My star" (directed by Yukio Shiba), for which Miura did a lot of field recording and composed the music, "CD" (2011), which features many guest vocalists, and "Manpower" (2011), which is based on the theme of choral music and organized the Sky Tree Choir. As the album title suggests, all the songs on this album are love songs, and this is the ninth album in total, and the first album in which composer Yasutsugu Miura sings vocals on all the songs.
The album features not only light pop songs that highlight Yasutsugu Miura's sense as a melody maker, but also heavy dance tunes, minimal music with many loops and edits, rap songs by the three members, and folky songs used in last year's music play "Fanfare," for which he was the musician and director. The warm and inviting cover artwork of a kokeshi doll stands out, but the album is not a collection of conventional love songs, but rather a collection of songs with a pop sensibility that is unique to □□□□.
